Don’t let another Easter go by without having some of these cute-as-a-button Easter bunnies that double as an Easter egg!
This free crochet pattern works up very quickly, so you still have plenty of time to crochet as many as you think (or know) that you need!
For this project, you will need two colors of sport-weight yarn, a Size C/2 crochet hook, and two 5 mm safety eyes for each bunny.
You could use other types of yarn, which will result in a larger or smaller bunny, depending on the type of yarn you choose.
The following techniques are utilized with this pattern:
ch = chain stitch
dec = decrease
dc = double crochet stitch
hdc = half double crochet stitch
inc = increase
sc = single crochet stitch
slst = slip stitch
sts = stitches
rnd(s) = rounds
tr = triple crochet stitch
°…+…° = work all the sts between ° and ° into the same stitch
[…] … x = repeat instructions in brackets … times
(…) = total number of stitches worked in specific round
The body of the bunny is worked from the top on down in a spiral that is continuous.
There are 23 rounds total that are crocheted for the body, so this really is a very quick project to complete, and the ears also work up very quickly.
I hope you get a chance to enjoy this pattern!
