Although the true name of this beautiful blanket is “Rainbow Dash Baby Blanket,” and although it definitely WOULD make an absolutely awesome baby blanket, as well as one that would keep baby entertained with all of the bright colors, this would make a great full-size afghan as well.

Although I absolutely love the colors shown in the featured image here and can’t imagine a better choice of colors, there are truly many color combos featuring as little as two colors or as many as you wish…as with all crochet projects, the choice is definitely yours!
The yarn suggested for this blanket is worsted weight yarn.
The colors used in the featured image including Lion Brand Pound of Love Yarn in colors including Bubble Gum, Turquoise, Honey Yellow, and Lavender.
There are many possible other color combos that would also be magical.
The creator of the pattern suggests that the finished blanket looks the most amazing when three to five colors are used.
You will also need a Size I hook, although gauge really isn’t very important for this project.
