Here is a free crochet pattern for this absolutely adorable mini ice skate ornament.
This ornament works great hanging on your tree!
Or, you could also consider using these mini skates as adornments for gift-wrapped packages for that extra special presentation!
With just a very small amount of yarn in your choice of a main color and white, as well as one jumbo paper clip for each mini ice skate you want to crochet.
Although the creator of the pattern recommends the use of small glitter white ribbon roses, even without the roses this project is spectacular if you decide to just go with the “laces” instead.
The project starts by affixing your yarn to a jumbo paper clip and working your way up to the top of the ice skate.
After the beginning of the pattern, it is worked in rounds.
There are a total of 10 rounds needed for the boot part of the ice skate and then another 2 round for the top cuff of the skate.
Some type of fiber-fill stuffing is also needed for this project.
A size F crochet hook and 4-ply worsted-weight yarn are also suggested for this project.
