With springtime and summer coming up (hopefully very soon), these ice cream cones would be a spectacular project to crochet for any of your special friends, co-workers, or family members!
To attach the top of the ice cream cone to a keyring, you will need either a 1/8-inch wide ribbon, or you could crochet a length sufficient to make a loop, if you don’t happen to have any ribbon available or don’t want to buy any. Ribbon that is 1/4 inch wide will also work.
Supplies and materials needed for this project include the following:
- Size 3- DK weight yarn (Baby Bee sweet delight yarn from Hobby Lobby works great, although any DK weight Size 3 yarn would also work great)
- 2.75mm crochet hook
- 6mm safety eyes
- Black embroidery thread
- White ribbon (1/8in)
- Polyfil
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Ball chain keychain
- Stitch marker (optional)
