Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get your hands on that elusive little leprechaun’s gold at the end of a rainbow at the end of a rainbow?
You could use that gold to pursue your dreams and make them a reality! It is a fact that everyone has done it at some point in their life…even adults! It is amazing to think about all the yarn it could buy.
There is something very fun about this Leprechaun Hat because it has a solid bottom to it! Basically, it’s a bowl that you can fill with whatever you like. To create the photos, the designer used plastic St. Patrick’s Day coins, but you could also use holiday candy instead.
It is also possible to fit a candle with a diameter of 4 inches! (In a jar, please, so you don’t burn down any buildings.)
A quick and easy pattern, this pattern does not require any complex stitches to complete, all you need to know is the single crochet, the double crochet and the triple crochet (for just the shamrock). You could also use this shamrock as an applique for your other craft projects in addition to this.
Needed supplies include the following:
- Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in green, black, yellow, and brown
- Size H and F crochet hooks
- Tapestry needle
The finished size of this hat/bowl is 3-1/4 inches in height, with a 6-1/2 inch wide brim and a 4-inch opening for the bowl section.
