Here is a very unique Christmas decoration that will not only be a ton of fun to make, it will also provide tons of fun when you display it during the holidays!
The Styrofoam cone that fits underneath the “gingerbread” crocheted yarn is easily obtained at most local hobby and craft stores, and the tree adornments (decorations) make great yarn scrap busters!
Instructions for crocheting the brown part of the tree, as well as all of the candy decorations, are provided in the pattern, which you can find via the link below.
Materials you will need include yarn, fiberfill stuffing for the decorations, a Styrofoam cone, crochet hooks sizes G and F, a tapestry needle, straight pins, and a glue gun with glue sticks.
However, because I am such a yarn lover, I recommend passing the glue gun/glue by and instead sewing the candy decorations on for a more permanent result.
