Here is a newly released free crochet pattern for this gorgeous “Summer Slice” drawstring bag!
A drawstring bag is something I love very much.
This is such a fun, simple, and practical way to carry your stuff (especially in the summer).
Additionally, if they’re cute and colorful, that makes them even better!
This bag is inspired by the colors of citrus fruits in the summer, and it is accentuated with the spike stitching which just seems to blend into its surroundings.
With a simple drawstring, you can wear it as a crossbody strap as well.
Tassels are the perfect finishing touch for the drawstrings.
This pattern is assigned by the designer to be in the “easy” level.
For this project, you will need DK-weight yarn, crochet hooks sizes 7 and K, a darning needle set, scissors, and, because this project is crocheted in the round, a stitch marker.
The finished bag measures approximately 10 inches tall x 9.5 inches wide, although if you use a size 4 yarn, you will need to up the hook sizes by 1, and the finished bag will be larger than the aforementioned size.
