Want a great way to show a bunch of love to all of those wonderful readers in your life?
How about presenting them with one of these incredibly unique heart-shaped bookmarks?
The finished bookmark measures 3-1/4 inches wide x 3 inches in length, and gauge is definitely not important for this particular project!
This pattern starts with a slip ring and is followed by just five rounds thereafter, so you can likely very quickly crochet up as many of these as you wish in a very short amount of time.
I absolutely LOVE the unique crochet design on the front of this bookmark, and the reverse side (the side that fits onto the back of the page) is simply the same design with one less row, for four rows total.
One very important part of this project is the necessary steam-blocking — you will want to make sure and pin the shape of the heart with straight pins so that the “V” of the heart is at a perfect 90-degree angle, so as to fit on the corner of a page good.
